BRUISING: these disturbances are frequent in those who make an intense sport, especially in sports that involve physical contact such as football or rugby. Moreover they may occur, although much more rarely, in people who have a rather sedentary life. Affected areas are characterized by a more or less abundant leakage of blood into the tissues, which appear dark blue colored. Later this color changes to brown and then yellowish, then disappears within about ten days. The pressure in the affected areas can cause pain, sometimes strong enough. Profit is a topical treatment, which fits well with the systemic one.

USEFUL PLANTS: Ananas comosus (Pineapple), Arnica montana (Arnica), Boswellia serrata (Boswellia), Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice), Harpagophytum procumbens (Devil’s claw), Ribes nigrum (blackcurrant), Salix alba (Willow).
