LARYNGITIS: are inflammatory diseases of the larynx, which are quite frequent in the cold season, usually caused by bacteria, viruses and fungi. Typical symptoms include burning sensation behind the breastbone, hoarse voice and sometimes voice almost absent, dry cough and sometimes fever. Cigarette smoking and environmental pollutants also aggravate the disease and slow its recovery.
USEFUL PLANTS: Althaea officinalis (Altea), Echinacea angustifolia or purpurea (Echinacea), Eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus), Clove (cloves), Malpighia punicifolia (Acerola), Malva officinalis (Mauve), Olea europaea (Olive), Propolis , Ribes nigrum (blackcurrant), Rosa canina (Dog rose), Thymus species (Thyme), Uncaria tomentosa (Cat’s claw).
