ALLERGY: it is caused by one or more foreign substances that are called antigens. It is a very common pathology, especially in spring, due to hypersensitivity to pollen of many plants such as grasses and Parietaria. Other substances responsible for it are drugs, the most diverse chemicals, foods, dust and pet hairs. Allergy may cause nasal symptoms (abundant secretion, itching, burning, sneezing), ocular symptoms (lacrimation with heartburn and intolerance to light), cutaneous symptoms (slicks color pink, very itchy) and intestinal symptoms (stomach and abdominal pain and diarrhoea).
USEFUL PLANTS: Boswellia serrata (Boswellia), Ginkgo biloba (Ginkgo), Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice), Perilla frutescens (Perilla), Ribes nigrum (blackcurrant), Vitis vinifera (Vine).
