BRONCHIAL ASTHMA: is a rather serious disease, with periodic exacerbations said asthmatic crises. Asthma is caused by a narrowing of the caliber of the bronchi, resulting in less air going in them. It is often caused by allergic factors, but may be due to infections and even irritating substances or pollutants. Typical symptoms include breathing difficulties, especially in expiration and cough, with sensation of air hunger and suffocation. Cigarette smoking aggravates asthma and greatly favors its gradual deterioration.
USEFUL PLANTS: Boswellia serrata (Boswellia), Ginkgo biloba (Ginkgo), Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice), Perilla frutescens (Perilla), Ribes nigrum (blackcurrant).
