OSTEOPOROSIS: is a very common disease, typical of the female sex since the onset of menopause, characterized by a slow but gradual reduction of bone mass. Hence osteoporosis can cause a progressive increase in bone fragility with susceptibility to pathological fractures, ie those that occur even for minor trauma, or spontaneous fractures, that is, those that occur even for minor impacts. The main cause is the lack of estrogens typical of menopause. In fact estrogens are very important to ensure the necessary strength to the bone.
USEFUL PLANTS: Equisetum arvense (Horsetail), Humulus lupulus (Hops), inulin, FOS and Gos, Soy isoflavones.
