SUPRAVENTRICULAR TACHICARDIA: it consists in an increased heart rate. In healthy heart rate ranges from 70 to 90 beats per minute. It is favoured by other concomitant diseases such as hyperthyroidism (ie a higher than normal functioning of the thyroid), anxiety, anemia and heart failure. It is frequent especially in people anxious and emotional, particularly when they are in a state of stress and/or discomfort. Typical symptoms include palpitations, choking sensation and discomfort, often accompanied by fear that you are having a serious heart problem.
USEFUL PLANTS: Crataegus oxyacantha or Crataegus monogyna (Hawthorn), Humulus lupulus (Hops), Lavandula officinalis (Lavender), Melissa officinalis (lemon balm), Passiflora incarnata (Passionflower), Tilia tomentosa (Linden), Valeriana officinalis (Valerian).
